Britain's leader plans to press allies to deliver Ukrainian forces with more extended-range weaponry to target Moscow's positions during talks in the UK capital on Friday.

Sir Keir plans to receive Ukrainian President Zelensky alongside what's known as "alliance of supportive nations", including over twenty of Ukraine's allies who have pledged to grant Ukraine security guarantees once fighting stops is arranged.

Zelensky has been appealing for an extended period for further advanced missile technology from the West, a move that Russia has warned would intensify the hostilities.

President Zelensky is coming from Belgium, where he held talks with European representatives on Thursday seeking economic assistance.

"The only person participating in current hostilities who declines to stop the conflict is Vladimir Putin," Sir Keir stated.
